Travel Information

Come join with us at this year's 2002 Eastern Workshop at the National Soaring Museum on beautiful Harris Hill in Elmira, New York, August 2-4, 2002.  After last year's workshop, we voted overwhelmingly to return to the Museum for this year's events.  The facilities are perfect for our discussions, presentations & accommodating ... so it comes as no surprise that we feel very welcome here.  If you attended last year's even, then you'll probably be happy to hear that we will be following a similar format of scheduled events, speakers and aircraft displays (see Dave Hudnut's excellent review of last years workshop in the Nov-Dec 2001 issue of Sailplane Builder).  There will also be time for questioning and informal discussions of the many creative ideas and projects displayed at the workshop.  The agenda will take shape over the next few months.

Vice President Arndt, "I'm happy to report that I have started a new homebuilding project and am really excited about being at the business of tinkering with soaring craft.  It is just a fine thing to have an emerging glider in the basement again."
