The MOBA features a unique sliding front fuselage (not just the canopy) allowing pilot to exit!  This provides a very rigid structure reducing the risk of a cracked or broken canopy.

First assembly of the partial forward fuselage for the prototype of the Sa-4.  Structure is wood wing and aluminum pod with an aluminum stabilator spar in an all-flying tail.  It is expected that inexperienced builders with limited shop capabilities can tackle this project.  If you want to help with this "team" project, contact Don Santee.  Click on Drawing for full drawing of pod
